Wow, the visual quality took a sudden plunge this episode, allowing Sankarea and Hyouka to pass this and enter contention with each other for best show of the season. To be honest, I don't even want to watch this show anymore. Dropped.

Visuals so beautiful, marred only by character designs. Sound so pretty, marred only by voices. The plots aren't particularly genius, but they're involving, and the scenes are interwoven well. I keep rediscovering things: quirks in the direction, moments of humor. I love this show. Would love to see it touched up with a more modern, less Key-y Kyoto Animation style. Much as I think the story could be improved, I'd be fine with a purely visual edit. Keep the voice acting, keep every scene as it is. Just update the images.

Great finale. I loved the songs, loved the characters. Rainbow Dash didn't get enough airtime, in my opinion, but it was a Twilight episode, and it was a damn good Twilight episode. Changeling Queen reminded me of The Little Mermaid's Ursula... a fun story. I'm looking forward to the next season.
