Description

Kimi ni Todoke is about a girl named Kuronuma Sawako. She is nicknamed Sadako (from the ring) because many people see her as strange and often mistake her for a ghost. A boy called Kazehaya kun becomes her friend and, to her, is "100% refreshness."
Kuronuma Sawako’s one wish in life is to make friends. That’s a difficult proposition when everyone who meets her cowers in terror. She admires her classmate, Kazehaya-kun, a popular, easygoing and 100% refreshing guy who is nice with everyone, even with her.

Magic brewing in the snow, gah, the planning was great. Ayane and Chizu are so good; great work done XD Not to mention... stunning Sawako in the snow. Kazehaya micro-explosioned, I bet. :P

Ayane is devious love; very, but this cell phone and birthday mix is just too good to pass up. Couple building, the vixen way.

Yano and Chizu are madly evil. So many laughs, and smiles of joy this episode. What a lovely setup for the last episode next week. It's gonna be a long week to wait.

AwSweet. Conveying Sawako's inner isolation came together well, and relatable. Sure I man never find myself in that situation, but it's familiar. Goes without saying that a large reason why this series is so good are the familiarities, identification, relations, and overal level of sympathy a viewer is able to cling to. Less rocket-science and more simple, human emotion. Great stuff.

Internal Wrecking Ball; communication and parents. Aw, feel bad for Sawako, and slightly identify. Adding up... a missed opportunity can sometimes wear at the core. :/

Great tone! As a matter of chemistry and exposition, I'm entirely taken in by this episode, but it's quite flush across the board. I'm somewhat afraid to say the phrase "secondary characters" now, and in that light, the lack of Sawako and Kazehaya focus is a non-issue. Of course I want the 'central focus' but the ChizuRyu ship is just as lovable. What a nice first snow!

Your smile is a magical most fascinating place. Chi~. Ah the little things. The chemistry, esp including Ryu, is so very nice.

Ryu! Is it time to break dance yet? Occurrence sound, I suppose. This is like a "final act" lol.

Kinda fillery, but Kazehaya is getting slightly bolder with Sawako. Cute ending, though.

kimaguresan watched Kimi ni Todoke (episode 21)

The end of the Chizu Arc. This could have been more drawn out but we went from pouty Chizu to genuinely sad Chizu. A comforting Ryu helps though. Everyone say "Chi"

Healthy tears! Aww, Chi-chan is awww. Totally a girls episode (or a 'This is why I love girls' episode), but Ryu's play into it all so well. Kinda painful statements thrown around, but that's one thing I like about Ryu; he's not into jazzi

Oh god, GURLZ! Ayane and Sawako so lol-duo in this sulk-mode. Character art seems to have come back as well. ^__^

Perhaps the most frequent use of the term baka I've encountered in a 5 minute span since I stopped watching Inuyasha years ago.... (I know there's another scene-ful, but can't think about it atm) :P

Good, but somewhat lacking. (Thankfully 20 is queued) Irony can be sad, and that's great. I feel identification with that sort of circumstance is probably as natural as being human. We strive for something ahead, things happen, all to have it crash d

At least Tohru totally has awesome taste. That's cool... but CHI IMPACT-O must be harsh.

Party at Ryu's pad... be careful of the fan... errr, no. This is all happeneing as expected, but... I wonder if that's why the production seems odd... likely not related. :/

The character art looks slightly different/varied, or is that just me? Proportions.. I guess.

Yano-chin daisuki~! Haha, Ayane still has the torch. .... Sleepover... sleep ... man, I'm tired as hell.

kimaguresan watched Kimi ni Todoke (episode 20)

more of the Chizu and Ryu saga, lots of crying and sadness, but a pouty Chizu is fine too.

Damn, didn't expect the development to scale outwards with Ryu and Chizuru. Totally love it though; bittersweet. I think this is where the series could gain another level.

Ah man, the complications. Well, that was expected for the most part... Sawako is learning.
