Description
Apparently abandoned by his mother, orphan Lag Seeing is taken as a "letter" by "Letter Bee" Gauche Suede to a town where his aunt raises him. His affection and admiration for Gauche give Lag the ambition to become a Letter Bee himself, carrying mail through the dangerous wasteland between towns on his world. When he becomes a teenager, he makes the trip to the capital to take the examination to become a trainee Letter Bee. En route, he meets the strange, powerful girl-like creature Niche, who becomes his "dingo," a Letter Bee's travelling companion. Lag yearns to find his mother, and discover why she abandoned him, if she did.

Gauche is a governmental employee, given the task to deliver any letter to it's destination. Meeting a young boy who is the letter to be delivered, Gauche makes friends with Lag and inspires him to take up the job. Five years later, Lag Seeing finally becomes his dream, that of a Letter Bee. However, the one who inspired him has gone missing and only there does the mystery start.

For some reason this episode felt a little odd. I suppose it's the naive-protagonist-gets-tricked-by-poor-city-girl-plot that feels very rehashed.

This was a great episode with good exposition. Story is still Lagging behind though. Well at least 9 eps to go, I hope the plot will develop soon. And yes, Lag is - as suspected - Sawashiro Miyuki. Her "chi"s and "shi"s gave it away.

So yeah, Niche. I guess I now know who Lag's Dingo is going to be. That pantsu bit was a little :rolleye:-inducing, but oh well, it's just an innuendo right? At least she's wearing boxers now. Also heard she is not as young as she seems... :(

Great episode, although a little far out with the stone located in Lag's eye. Guess the real deal starts now, and there'll be a blue-eyed loli? (Someone spoilt me her name and age already, thanks X10A! D:)
