Wasn't sure about picking this up to begin with, but so glad I did. Starts out kinda repetitive, but makes up for it all in spades in the last 2/3. Great music, great animation, and fantastic storytelling make this a win all-around.

Wild ending, crazy things. It looked like a massive tragic end, but we're left somewhat open ended. Although this is easily one of the best open endings I've had the opportunity to witness. Bravo.

An episode of bittersweet good-byes even if no one really said good-bye. Utena goes to the arena once more to head to the castle to meet the Prince.

Final duel with Touga, Utena has the power to revolutionize the world. But she finds out about Anthy's relationship with her brother. Soapy for sure, but great drama in the final stretch here. End of the World indeed.

Moving closer to resolution. Utena's memories of who Anthy really is are returning, and the truth will be revealed. Touga's final duel with Utena is coming, but I must wait till tomorrow to likely finish this masterpiece.

This is getting tasty. Who's the prince? Who's the Rose Bride? Everything we thought we knew is changed, and it doesn't feel contrived at all.

The piece of the puzzle are coming together. Akio's pimping finally landed him Utena herself, but the finality is still too far away for me to see. Marching onward.

Nice catch. Utena picks up on Akio's harem building adventures. Now I know where Sugisaki's goal of the harem comes from.

Akio lets Nanami move in, and Utena randomly does stretches and handstands. Love it when Utena just randomly exercises during conversations.

This last arc is approaching epic at a very nice pace. Love the manipulation of the old duelists and how Akio and Touga bring them back into the fold.

Since I've seen it about 3 times now, I really like Utena's new Duel entrance animation. Which is good since I'll probably see it a lot more in the coming episodes.
