You know, upon 2nd review, this is like Naruto... minus the aim at the younger audience. First two episodes are still epic manly.
@kimaguresan Ask RyanA here, another staunch fan of Gintama even if he's a bit behind. I would strongly recommend you to watch the "sneak peek" at the Gintama movie... but you probably need another 40 episodes under your belt. At least until you get to know all the characters.

@kimaguresan As for Gintama, the start is a drag since it's just like other typical "shounen" works. Then around 50 episodes later, it gets a flair of its own. A very fun flair.
