Description
An instrumental group formed in Osaka, Japan 2003, consisting of the bass, drums and guitar. “Hyakkei” in Japanese literally translates to mean ‘hundreds of landscapes’ – and when you listen to Hyakkei’s songs, you’ll come to understand why Hyakkei is a fitting name for a sensational group, whose sounds will bring hyakkei to all their listeners. A sweet and semi-energetic guitar palette. Definitely well-balanced throughout the tracks, ranging from swift-moving to lounge-mellow. Resemblance to toe surely some influence is present, but I feel the strength is in the less emotive energy which tends to not intrude the thought bubble.
