Well, wasn't this a teary ride. It almost feels as if they were trying too hard to make everyone cry.

This is so heart-wrenching. So painful.

Slowly but surely, I am able to hear Sawashiro Miyuki EVERYWHERE. I am 100% positive that this mum is voiced by Cloche.

And the preview to ep10 probably revealed the cause of death of our universally proclaimed sanctity. First time I've heard of Crush syndrome, too.
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 09)
Shit, I had completely forgotten how emotional it was. Manly tears came quite fast. I need more COURAGE for ep 10.
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 08)
.......I wonder if I would have had these precise suspicions, had they not been hinted on twitter....

By the way, I thought that Mirai finally found her love. They're alike, after all... Although, I'm not sure she'd last long enough with a robot otaku :) But yeah, back to cliffhangeritis, cue episode 08.
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 07)
Especially during catastrophes, illnesses and pandemics are prone to proliferation... Oh well. I already know that the next ep will offer a fuckload of stuff to conjecture about, so I'll leave it at that for now.
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 07)
Now wasn't THAT a cliffhanger, huh... But eh, just seems like an unhealthy combination of fever, stress, and obvious anxiety. Unless the presence of the mice in the beginning of the ep didn't presage anything bad...
watching Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 06)
Apart from that, Mirai's sudden change of heart felt a little out of character initially, but that's perhaps because I have never seen her smile as much as she did in this ep. She was pretty understanding, too.
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 05)
This episode was quite heart-rending, and even caused a couple of tears to gather. Very emotional moments, magnified by the music. (In fact, I believe it's the music that does the trick) Mirai probably realized now that it is not the time to be selfi
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 04)
Mirai is such an interesting character, actually. She rejects sympathy and pity, but indirectly wants to be pitied, too. Too bad Yuuki isn't mature enough to find the right words to comfort her.
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 04)
Ok, they probably still haven't realized that their solo escapades may end in death, but especially Mirai and Yuuki seem to run into the most lethal situations. And barely escape, too.
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 04)
Apart from that funny scene, this ep blew it a little. Although, don't we all have those days where everything seems to go wrong, whatever you do? No wonder Mirai snapped. But then again, she's exaggerating a little now.
watching Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 04)
KEITAI TOIRE! The expression on Mirai's face is priceless. And Yuuki's pooping imitation adds the cherry on top of the cake xD
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 03)
Besides, this episode went in a flash. I absolutely did not see time pass. Doesn't happen often, and is definitely a good thing. Cue episode 04.
watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 03)
Hmm, it's been a while since I watched 02, so it was quite impressive to face this over realistic scenery again. Plus the fact that people keep dying all along, definitely not a pleasant sight for these kids.

watched Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 01)
Yep. Definitely needs 2nd episode to judge it.
watching Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 (episode 01)
I kind of have the feeling as if the end of this episode (where the quake will obviously happen) will make her regret having been so grumpy with her brother or family.
